Interactive exhibits, live creatures and entertaining educational shows fill the walls of the Orlando Science Center, offering visitors of all ages a fun, informative museum experience. From the reproduced skeletons of ancient dinosaurs and hands-on fossil digs in the DinoDigs area to the living Florida habitats of NatureWorks, featuring animals and plants, the museum has ample activities and thrills that cater to children of all ages. Very young children can play in KidsTown, picking fruit from child-sized citrus trees and playing with water and blockades at the water table, while the Xperience Factory and Cool Works present older kids with more intellectual opportunities. Also containing a planetarium and an observatory, the center is in Loch Haven Park, alongside the Orlando Museum of Art and the Orange County Historical Museum.
